2024 Hocking Hills State Park Programs

*Annual Winter Hike: January 20, 2024. 9:00AM – 11:00AM - A difficult 6-mile winter hike from Old Man’s Cave to Ash Cave. Refreshments will be available at Cedar Falls for a donation. A shuttle bush will return hikers to Old Man’s Cave. Wear layered clothing and proper hiking footwear. Be prepared for winter weather and terrain.

*Maple Sugaring in the Hills: March 9-10 2024 - 12-4 PM- Meet at log cabin, just behind the Old Man’s Cave Visitor Center. Join park staff to see how maple syrup was made.

*Spring Wildflower Hike April 22-27 10am

*Grandma Gatewood Fall Color Hike: October 12, 2024 9:00 AM - Hike with staff for a seasonal fall hike.

* Halloween Night Hike Ash Cave October 25, 2024 7pm - Join staff at the Ash Cave parking lot for a spooky lantern lit hike to Ash Cave.

*Christmas in Ash Cave: December 14, 2024 5:00 – 7:00 PM- Come celebrate the season in Ash Cave.
